Keith Vaughan: States of Tension

Osborne Samuel Gallery present the exhibition, Keith Vaughan: States of Tension.

Twenty-eight significant paintings will be included in our new exhibition (oils and works on paper), the majority of which are for sale. Together, they cover almost the entire chronological spectrum of Vaughan’s career; the earliest dating from 1935, the latest being 1975, the penultimate year of the artist’s life.

A comprehensive printed catalogue will accompany the exhibition with a compelling introductory essay by Vaughan scholar, Gerard Hastings. Critical essays by Hastings accompany each entry, with several paintings never having previously been written about.
